For determining your ideal body weight, try this formula:
- Women 100 pounds total bodyweight for the first 5 feet of height plus 5 pounds for every increment of an inch.
- Men: 106 lbs of total body mass for the first 5 feet of height + 6 pounds for each additional inch.
If you have a small body frame, you can subtract 10 percent off the number. For a large frame, add 10 percent.
